Brooklyn Youth Chorus

The Brooklyn Youth Chorus embraces new vocal challenges and performance experiences. They needed a brand identity to showcase not only their personality but also who they wanted to become.

Inspired by sound waves, the gender-neutral mark named “Sam” expresses the passion of the chorus, the training their choristers receive, and their unique performances.  With such a wide range of organizations and partners the choir collaborates with, they needed a flexible and impactful brand toolkit.  Bright, fresh color and active photography paired with clean type easily translates to promotional materials and the web. The Chorus’s new identity balances sophistication with exuberance, capturing the spirit of the students as they continue to cross boundaries with sound.
